In its latest Q1 2020 earnings report, Samsung has subtly confirmed that the highly-anticipated Samsung Galaxy Note20 and Galaxy Fold 2 will be scheduled to launch in the second-halve of the year.
For the second half, amid uncertainties including the possibility of a prolonged pandemic, market competition is forecast to intensify as manufacturers strive to recover from the weakness in the first half. The Company will continue to offer differentiated products in the premium segment with the launch of new foldable and Note models.

Although its pretty much expected, but its still serves as a good confirmation given that the recent coronavirus outbreak had disrupted the launch schedule for quite a number of prominent smartphones in the past few months.
According to recent rumors, Samsung is expected to maintain its long tradition of launching the latest Galaxy Note series flagship phones in August. Therefore, it is likely that the Galaxy Note20 series will debut in around three months time.
