Samsung to Launch 5 Devices on August 5

Samsung will be holding the Galaxy Unpacked event on Aug. 5. Recent reports have revealed that the company will unleash multiple products at the event. Today, a South Korean publication reported that the company will announce as many as five devices at the event.

The upcoming Galaxy Unpacked 2020 event will be broadcasted live from South Korea. Industry experts are of the view that the five devices that will be unveiled at the event include the Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Galaxy Buds Live, and Galaxy Watch 3 smartwatch.  

The Galaxy Note20 series has already appeared in multiple leaks. It is speculated that the lineup includes the Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra flagship phones.

Samsung Galaxy Note20

The Galaxy Z Fold 2 will be arriving as the successor for last year’s Galaxy Fold which was Samsung’s first foldable phone. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is expected to arrive with a slightly larger inner display and a bigger cover screen.

The Galaxy Z Flip 5G will be arriving as the 5G version of the Galaxy Z Flip clamshell phone that debuted earlier this year. Before the Aug. 5 global launch, the Z Flip 5G will first debut tomorrow in China. The Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy Z Fold 2, and Galaxy Z Flip 5G are all powered by the Snapdragon 865 Plus SoC.

The Galaxy Buds Live is the new bean-shaped truly wireless earbuds from the South Korean company. Previous reports had claimed that Samsung may announce the Galaxy Watch 3 on July 22, but the new report states that it will go official along with the above-mentioned devices.
