Vivo is expected to announce the Vivo X Fold 5 foldable phone later this month in China. Last year, the brand launched two foldable phones, namely the X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro. However, the brand is expected to launch only the X Fold 5 this year. A recent Weibo post by tipster Panda is Bald has revealed key details about the device.
Vivo X Fold 5 key details revealed

According to the tipster, the Vivo X Fold 5 will feature a 6,000mAh battery. He added that the device will support 90W wired and 30W wireless charging. This aligns with the recent report that revealed almost everything about the device.
The tipster also claimed that the Vivo X Fold 5 will be cheaper than the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro. To recall, last year’s Pro edition was priced at 9,999 Yuan ($1,380) at launch. Considering that the Vivo X Fold 5 may feature the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip that powered the X Fold 3 Pro instead of the newer Snapdragon 8 Elite, it is likely to be a more affordable offering.
In China, the Vivo X Fold 5 is expected to rival the Oppo Find N5, which is available for 8,999 Yuan ($1,250). Therefore, the X Fold 5 may arrive with similar pricing in the home market.
The Vivo X Fold 5 is expected to feature an 8.03-inch inner foldable screen and a 6.53-inch LTPO AMOLED panel on the outside. Both screens are expected to support a 120Hz refresh rate. It may ship with OriginOS 5-based Android 15, 12GB / 16GB of RAM, and 256GB / 512GB of storage. Its rear camera setup may include a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
