Xiaomi had sold over 5 million Redmi K20 series smartphones globally

Prior to the Redmi K30 Pro launch event earlier today, Xiaomi has announced the latest milestone attained by the K20 series smartphones. That is, the company had sold over 5 million Redmi K20 series smartphones globally.

This came shortly after Xiaomi announced that the Redmi K20 series global sale had crossed the 4.5 million mark back in December last year.

Based on this impressive sales figure, it’s obvious that the Redmi K20 series is one of the best-selling smartphone series for Redmi.

Needless to say, the success of the K20 series smartphones was largely due to it’s price competitiveness which makes them highly attractive in the Asian markets.

In fact, even for the newly announced Redmi K30 Pro, the company has managed to launch it as one of the cheapest Snapdragon 865 smartphones available in the market.

Other than the K20 series smartphones, Redmi had also found success in the Note 8 series smartphones after more than 10 million units were sold globally within a short span of just 3 months.

With such a huge success achieved by the company within the past couple of months, we’re definitely more than excited to find out how the latest Redmi K30 iteration will perform this year.
