Xiaomi shipped more than 10 million smartphones in September

Last month had indeed been an eventful period for Xiaomi as they took the wrap off two of the company’s most popular smartphones which are none other than the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 as well as the Mi Note 3.

Yesterday, the company had also revealed that they’d also broken a new record last month (September) having shipped more than 10 million smartphone units in a single month. Of course, we do believe this figure includes units that were shipped out of the Chinese market as well.

This of course, didn’t really came as a surprise to many of us given that Xiaomi has been gaining popularity across the world including many other Asian markets including Singapore, Malaysia and particularly in India where 25 million smartphones were reportedly shipped in the past 3 years. Their success is probably owed to the fact that the company has a diverse portfolio of smartphones ranging from the lower-end Redmi series to the higher-end Mi series smartphones that are all offered at an extremely competitive and affordable price tag.
