Redmi 10X will be launched on May 26th; scores more than 410K points on AnTuTu

It has been confirmed! The highly anticipated Redmi 10X will made its official debut on May 26th later this month. What’s interesting is that the Redmi 10X will be the first smartphone in the world to but with the newly announced MediaTek Dimensity 820 5G SoC.

Besides having its launch date confirmed, AnTuTu had also revealed that the upcoming Redmi 10X had achieved an impressive score of 415,277 points on the benchmarking platform. In comparison, the Hauwei Nova 7i which is currently the best-performing mid-ranger smartphone in the global market (according to AnTuTu), only has an average score of 308,853 points.

In terms of design, the Redmi 10X’s rear panel shares a close resemblance to that of the recently announced Redmi Note 9 except for the absence of a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner on the Redmi 10X. The front design however, remains as a mystery for the time being.

According to recent reports, the 5G model of the Redmi 10X is expected to be available in four different memory configurations including 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB. Moreover, the device will also be offered in four different colorways including Silver, Gold, Blue, as well as Violet.

This will definitely be an exciting handset which will compete against the likes of Realme 6 series and certain OPPO A-series smartphones. As usual, we can expect more information on the handset to surface in the coming days.
