A tipster from China has revealed the names of the three models that will belong to the Huawei Nova 8 series.
According to the tipster, the Huawei Nova 8 series will break cover before the end of the year. He claimed that the series will include three phones such as Huawei Nova 8, Nova 8, and Nova 8 Pro.
The Nova 8 SE could be the weakest phone in the series. It is likely to feature Dimensity 800 chipset. He speculated that the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage edition of the phone may cost 2,799 Yuan ($409).
The Huawei Nova 8 could be equipped with Dimensity 800U chipset. Its 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage could be priced at 3,299 Yuan ($482). The Nova 8 Pro may feature the Dimensity 1000U chipset. Its 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant could be priced at 3,999 Yuan ($585).
It is interesting to see that none of the Nova series have Kirin chipsets as predecessor models were driven by Kirin SoCs. Recently, a Huawei phone with model number CDN-AN00 model number was spotted at the 3C certification platform recently. It had appeared with a 40W charger.
