Xiaomi has a slew of flagship phones waiting to go official in China. The Xiaomi 12 Ultra is speculated to launch in July. Reports have claimed that the company will be announcing the Xiaomi 12S and 12S Pro flagship phones in the same month. As the moniker suggests, the 12S duo is expected to arrive as enhanced versions of the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro phones that debuted in December last year. Ahead of the rumored launch, tipster Mukul Sharma has leaked the variants of the Xiaomi 12S series.
The tipster claimed that the Xiaomi 12S and 12S Pro would be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 mobile platform. The 12S Pro will also be made available in a Dimensity 9000 chipset version.
The tipster further revealed that the Xiaomi 12S will come in three variants, such as 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage. The Pro model will also come in the same configurations. The 3C certifications of both devices have revealed that the vanilla model will support 67W fast charging, whereas the Pro variant will be equipped with support for 120W rapid charging.
The Xiaomi 12S Pro Dimensity 9000 edition is tipped to arrive in two configurations, such as 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage. Its 3C certification has revealed that it will support 67W fast charging.
The other specifications of the Xiaomi 12S series are under wraps. Since it is an updated version of the Xiaomi 12 lineup, the 12S and 12S Pro are expected to inherit most of the specs from their original models.
