Honor is gearing up to release a refreshed version of the standard Magic 7, as per a new leak. The device is currently undergoing certification and promises significant upgrades, particularly in battery and camera capabilities.
Refreshed Honor Magic 7’s leaked details

According to tipster Fixed Focus Digital, the refreshed version of the Honor Magic 7 is slated to debut in April in China. One of the standout features of this model is its massive battery capacity, which surpasses the 6,000mAh mark. To recall, the Magic 7 packs a 5,650mAh battery with 100W wired and 80W wireless charging support. At present, there is no information about the charging capabilities of the new Magic 7 variant.
On the camera front, the refreshed Magic 7 variant will incorporate a periscope telephoto lens, signaling further advancements in photography. While the existing Magic 7 features three 50-megapixel cameras in its rear-facing camera module, it lacks a periscope telephoto camera. Instead, it has a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom support.
Honor Magic 7 specifications
The existing Honor Magic 7 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and comes with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. Its display is a 6.78-inch OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.
For imaging, the current model features a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide snapper. It has a 50-megapixel camera on the front for selfies.
In related news, Honor is also said to be working on the Honor Magic V Flip 2. While it is expected to launch in Q2 this year, there is no information about its core specifications.
