How to root Karbonn Titanium X tutorial

How to root Karbonn Titanium XThe Karbonn Titanium X is the latest Android smartphone released by Karbonn back in January this year. The device comes with a 5 inch FHD display running on a 1.5GHz quad-core MT6589T processor – powerful enough for most Android users out there. Although the Karbonn Titanium X comes with a rather high-end specifications, the device is available for just Rs 12,499. So if you’re one of those who doesn’t want to waste too much money on phones, then you may want to consider getting this device. Like most other Karbonn smartphones, we can easily root Karbonn Titanium X easily using the Framaroot app. In this tutorial, I will be guiding you on how to root Karbonn Titanium X using Framaroot.

Prerequisites before you begin rooting Karbonn Titanium X

  1. Download the Framaroot apk to your PC.
  2. Ensure you have 80% battery remaining on your smartphone. It’s the best if its battery is full.
  3. Go to Settings > Security > Make sure you have checked on the Unknown Sources checkbox.
  4. Back up your Karbonn Titanium X smartphone.

Follow the steps below on how to root Karbonn Titanium X

  1. Connect the Karbonn Titanium X to your PC.
  2. Copy and paste the Framaroot apk (which you have downloaded earlier) from your PC over to the root of your device’s SD card.
  3. Open the file explorer app ( if you don’t have one on your device, then you may want to download either Astro File Manager / ES File Explorer ) and install the Framaroot apk by tapping on its icon.
  4. Open the Framaroot app on your Karbonn Titanium X smartphone.
  5. select install Superuser in Framaroot to root Karbonn Titanium XFrom the app, select the Install Superuser option under the Select an action to execute after root section.
  6. Under the Select an exploit section, select the Boromir exploit. ( You can try Faramir or Barahir exploit if Boromir doesn’t work )
  7. success pop up in FramarootOnce you’re done, a pop-up like the one above should appear on the screen.
  8. Reboot your device.
  9. Congratulation! You’ve just rooted Karbonn Titanium X!
  10. There should now be a SuperSU app on your app drawer as well.
