Huawei’s 65W SuperCharge Rapid Charger Image Appear; Likely to Debut with Mate Xs

An image of a new Huawei SuperCharge with 65W fast charging capabilities is now doing rounds on Weibo. This new charger is expected to get unveiled with the Huawei Mate Xs foldable phone that is expected to go official in the coming month. The Mate Xs is likely to get announced alongside the Huawei P40 series on March 26.

The Huawei Mate Xs that has a model number of TAH-AN00m was spotted at the database of 3C certification in December last year. It was revealed that the 5G ready foldable phone will be arriving with a charger that has a model number of HW-200200CP1. The charger was found to support a maximum charging output of 65W. In the image below, the same model number can be seen.

As it can be seen, the charger supports up to 20V / 3.25A. It is said that the charger weighs only 92 grams. The original Mate X had arrived with a 55W fast charger. The upcoming Mate Xs is expected to arrive with some improvements over the Mate X phone.

Instead of the Kirin 980 chipset, the Huawei Mate Xs will be equipped with Kirin 990 5G chipset. It is said that the Mate Xs is easier to build than the Mate X. Hence, it is being speculated that the Mate Xs may carry a cheaper price tag than the Mate X which is priced at 16,999 Yuan ($2,427).

The Huawei Mate Xs is expected to arrive with a better hinger and an improved screen. The entire device is said to be more durable and slightly smaller than the predecessor model. The smartphone was recently seen on TENAA, but its specifications haven’t appeared yet on it.
