Earlier this month, Realme confirmed that it will announce the Realme Neo 7 with the Dimensity 8400-Max chip onboard in February. This phone has already appeared in TENAA’s database with the RMX5080 model number. Interestingly, TENAA’s database has another Realme phone with the RMX5090 model number, which is similar to the Realme GT 7 Pro. Speculation suggests that the Realme GT 7 could be the name of this device when it debuts in the Chinese market. A recent Weibo post by tech blogger Experience More has revealed the launch timeframe of the GT 7.
Realme GT 7 could be the most affordable Snapdragon 8 Elite phone

According to the tipster, the Realme GT 7 will be announced by the end of February in China. It is unclear whether this device will debut alongside the Neo 7 SE.
The GT 7 packs the same specs as the GT 7 Pro but features a dual camera setup, which lacks a periscope telephoto camera. There is a possibility that the GT 7 will have a regular optical-type fingerprint sensor instead of the ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor available on the Pro version.
The leak also suggests that the Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered Realme GT 7 will overtake the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro as the world’s most affordable smartphone. To recall, the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro debuted in December 2024 in China with a base price of 3,399 Yuan ($465).

The tipster also shared some information about the Realme Neo 7 SE. He claimed that the device is identical to the Realme Neo 7, which went official in December 2024. While the Neo 7 has the Dimensity 9300+ chip, the Neo 7 SE is equipped with the Dimensity 8400-Max. The rest of the specifications are the same on both smartphones. It is set to debut as the most affordable Dimensity 8400 phone, undercutting the Redmi Turbo 4.
