Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 May Go Official in June Next Year; Galaxy Note 21 Unlikely to Launch

Starting from next year, Samsung’s S-series flagship is expected to arrive with S Pen stylus support. Recent reports have revealed that the Galaxy S21 and S21 Plus will not support the stylus, but the S21 Ultra is expected to support it. Since the S-series phones will support S Pen in future, Samsung may stop selling its Galaxy Note lineup. A new report by a South Korean publication has revealed that the Galaxy Note series phones will not debut next year since the series will be discontinued. The report also reveals that the S Pen stylus support will be available on the Galaxy Z Fold 3.

The rumor mill has already started spilling information about the Galaxy Z Fold 3 a few months after the unveiling of the Z Fold 2. The new report reveals will come with some advanced features from Samsung such as the S Pen support and under-display camera.

Samsung had added an in-screen digitizer on the predecessor Fold series foldable phones, but it could not prevent scratching the screen. The South Korean company will be using a second-generation Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG) layer over the display of the Galaxy Z Fold 3. Its inclusion will bring support for the S Pen.

Samsung’s under-display camera technology can enlarge the gap between the pixels and pass light through to capture photos. The advanced camera tech will make it possible for the Z Fold 3 to deliver an all-experience since it will not have a punch-hole or notch like the predecessor models.

It appears that the company will begin the Galaxy Z Fold 3 production soon it has reportedly developed its final sample. The company is reportedly planning to the next flagship foldable phone by June 2021.
